A two-person exhibition considering ideas of sensory perception, ritualised acts and feelings of “wellbeing”.
Laura Eldret explores social forms by looking at how and why groups of people gather. She is increasingly interested in the physical spaces and places that social interactions take place. As real-time communal social interactions become increasingly rarefied, what are the qualities that make these unique and meaningful?
Tony Spencer’s work is an enquiry into the human connections to intangible energy through sound, sacred sites and ritual. Cube is a sculpture crafted from reclaimed wooden pallets and an ultra-black internal space, designed to stimulate our sensory perceptions.
During the festival Spencer, a qualified sound healer, invites audiences to participate in vocal sound healing.
